Equipment Positioning and Functions
This equipment serves as a post-processing device in the transformer radiator production line, primarily used for rolling and leveling, trimming, and deburring the edges of welded or formed fins. It prevents edge opening ("mouth opening") of workpieces, improves surface flatness and edge quality, and is suitable for finishing processes of components such as fins and metal boxes.

Core Structure and Working Principle
Mechanical Structure
Split Gearbox Design
Two sets of gearboxes are independently installed on the left and right. By adjusting the gearbox spacing (310~520mm), the machine quickly adapts to workpieces of different widths, offering convenient operation for multi-specification production.
Rolling System
Rollers: Made of GCr15 bearing steel, surface-quenched to HRC58-60 for strong wear resistance; detachable design facilitates grinding or replacement after wear to maintain rolling accuracy.
Pressure Wheels: With an outer diameter of 100mm, they apply pressure to workpiece edges in conjunction with rollers. The "roller + pressure wheel" combination achieves edge compaction and leveling, effectively eliminating edge warping after welding or forming.
Deburring Device
A pair of wire wheel deburring motors (1.1kW each on left and right) are equipped at the discharge end to grind the edges of rolled workpieces, removing burrs and flash to improve surface finish.
Workflow
Feeding Stage
Workpieces (such as welded fin assemblies) are conveyed by the production line to the inlet of the beading machine and aligned via side positioning devices.
Rolling Stage
The main motor drives rollers and pressure wheels to rotate through the gearbox. Workpieces pass between the rollers and pressure wheels, with edges rolled and leveled, while pressure wheels compact edges to prevent opening.
Deburring Stage
As rolled workpieces pass through the discharge end, high-speed rotating wire wheels grind the edges to remove burrs or spatter generated during processing.
Transmission and Adjustment
- The power transmission system uses hard-connected gearboxes for high transmission efficiency and stable torque, ensuring uniform force on workpieces during rolling.
- Width adjustment is achieved by manually or electrically adjusting the spacing between left and right gearboxes, enabling precise positioning and quick switching between workpieces of different widths.
