Equipment Positioning and Functions
This argon arc welding machine is a customized automated device for welding the end edges of transformer radiators, primarily used to complete sealing welding or structural reinforcement welding at both ends of transformer radiators. Aiming at the high sealing and pressure resistance requirements of transformer radiators (such as long-term operation in oil-immersed environments), the equipment ensures the reliability and consistency of end welds through multi-welding torch synchronous operation, precise positioning, and argon arc welding technology, meeting the strict standards of the power equipment industry.

Targeted Structural Design
Workpiece Fixturing for Transformer Radiators
1.Adjustable Positioning Fixtures: The worktable is equipped with multiple sets of pneumatic positioning blocks, compatible with end dimensions of different radiator specifications (e.g., fin width 310~550mm, fin length 700~4000mm). The fixture spacing can be automatically adjusted by inputting parameters via a touchscreen, with model changeover time ≤2 minutes.
Multi-Welding Torch Collaborative Welding Solution
Optimized Torch Layout
Four welding torches are distributed in a "two-by-two symmetrical" pattern, capable of simultaneously welding the left and right end edges of a single radiator fin or the adjacent end edges of two fins. This coordinates with the stacking process of transformer radiators (e.g., multi-fin parallel welding) to improve efficiency.
Micro-Plasma Argon Arc Welding Configuration
Small-current welding torches (current range 5~150A) are used with high-frequency arc starters to achieve precise welding of thin plates (≤2mm). The heat-affected zone width ≤1.5mm avoids strength degradation or deformation of radiators caused by overheating.
Sealing Assurance Design
Enhanced Gas Shielding
Each welding torch is equipped with an independent argon flow control system (accuracy ±0.1L/min), with an argon coverage rate ≥99% during welding to prevent weld oxidation, particularly suitable for welding stainless steel (e.g., 304, 316L) and copper alloy radiators.
Weld Path Programming
Supports custom welding torch movement paths (e.g., straight lines, polylines, arcs), enabling precise welding of complex structures at transformer radiator end edges (such as folded edges, flanged edges, or corrugated fins' wavy edges) to ensure continuous and leak-free sealing surfaces.
Welding Process Characteristics
Material Adaptability
Cold-rolled radiators: DC argon arc welding is used with a current of 80~120A, argon flow rate of 10~15L/min, and weld penetration depth of 1.0~1.8mm to ensure oil corrosion resistance.
Pressure Resistance Requirements
Welds must pass a 0.2MPa air pressure leakage test (pressure retention for 5 minutes with pressure drop ≤0.02MPa).
Production Efficiency
The equipment can weld ≥60 radiator fins per hour (calculated based on 1 minute of end edge welding time per fin).
